I am proud to have been born and raised in Odessa, a city that has always been close to my heart. Growing up here, I have seen firsthand the challenges and opportunities our community faces. My wife of 41 years, Jo Ann, and I share a deep connection to Odessa, both of us having been raised in this vibrant city. Our journey together has been enriched by the values and traditions of our hometown, and we are committed to giving back to the community that has given us so much.
As a successful business owner in Odessa, I understand the importance of economic growth and development. Running a business has provided me with valuable insights into the needs of local businesses and the broader economic landscape. It has taught me the significance of hard work, perseverance, and strategic planning. These experiences have equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to advocate for policies that foster a business-friendly environment, support entrepreneurship, and create jobs. I am dedicated to ensuring that our city remains a place where businesses can thrive and contribute to our community’s prosperity.
Family and faith are at the core of who I am. Jo Ann and I have raised two wonderful sons and are blessed with five grandchildren, who are the light of our lives. Our family values guide our actions and decisions, and we are committed to creating a community where families can flourish. As devoted Christians, we are actively involved in our church, Hope Alive, where we find strength and inspiration.
